We are a club at the University of Maryland dedicated to increasing the number of Black and Latinx students who graduate and secure jobs in the tech industry.

Our parent organization, ColorStack, has over 12,000+ students from universities across North America and partnerships with top tech companies like Meta, Duolingo, and Atlassian.

The ColorStack Chapter at UMD aims to help increase the number of Black/Latinx/Indigenous students pursuing computing & adjacent technical majors to launch and pivot into rewarding technical careers. We cultivate an inclusive community of innovators and technologists to deliver programs and events to increase academic success, professional skill sets, and community.

To become a member, register on TerpLink and fill out our member form. Don't forget to attend our General Body Meetings to get involved!

General body meetings are held biweekly at the Stamp Student Union. Each meeting lasts about an hour. For specific dates and times, stay tuned to our announcements!

The time commitment is low, typically 1-5 hours a week. Most of our commitments (meetings, events, office hours, etc.) take place in the late afternoon (3pm-6pm) or evening (6pm-9pm).
